On August 16, 2022, President Joe Biden signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a landmark bill aimed at tackling some of America’s biggest macroeconomic challenges. This past week marked the bill’s 1-year anniversary, prompting economists, analysts, and legislators to assess just how effective Biden’s project has been. In this article, we’re not only going to give you a tour of the Inflation Reduction Act, but we’re also going to analyze its impact a year after enactment.
