Nearing the Christmas season, here in this article are 3 baked goods people can make!

To start off, you can make the popular gingerbread cookie! It’s a common treat that can be made or bought. Provided by the Pillsbury, here’s the recipe.

  1. In large bowl, crumble cookie dough; stir in molasses. Add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly with hands.(DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER COMBINING WITH FLOUR.)
  2. Divide dough in half; form into 2 disks, and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Heat oven to 375°F. On floured surface, roll 1 dough disk 1/4 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 1/2- to 3-inch gingerbread boy or girl cookie cutters. On ungreased cookie sheet, place cutouts 2 inches apart. Repeat for remaining dough, rerolling scraps as necessary.
  4. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set and light golden brown around edges. Cool on cookie sheet 3 minutes; remove to cooling rack to cool completely, about 20 minutes.
Pizza Crescent Candy Cane by Pillsbury.com

For pizza in the shape of the popular candy cane, here is the recipe.

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper; spray generously with cooking spray.
  2. 2. Unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles. With pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make 16 triangles. On cookie sheet, place crescent triangles lengthwise in long row, pointing same direction, with edges overlapping slightly on cookie sheet. Press overlapping edges together to help seal, but leave triangle points free.
  3. Spread pizza sauce in 2 1/2-inch wide strip lengthwise on widest part of dough, leaving 1/2-inch edge. Sprinkle half the cheese over sauce. Place pepperoni slices on top, and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  4. Fold over tips of dough to enclose filling; pinch ends of dough on edge to attach. Gently picking up top end of dough, curve one end of strip to form top of cane. Brush dough with melted butter; sprinkle Italian seasoning over top.
  5. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Use parchment paper to help slide crescent to serving platter. Serve warm.
Mini Crescent Tree Appetizers by Pillsbury.com

And finally for a tree shaped treat, here is the recipe for Mini Crescent Tree Appetizers

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  2. Unroll and separate dough into 2 long rectangles. Firmly press edges and perforations to seal, pressing each into 13x4-inch rectangle. Using photo as a guide, cut each rectangle into 8 triangles, each with 2 1/2-inch wide base (16 triangles total). Set aside trimmed end pieces. Place dough triangles on cookie sheet, spacing slightly apart. Press any perforations to seal, as needed.
  3. Shape and press remaining dough end pieces into 4-inch square. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows to make 16 small squares. Press 1 square firmly at center of each triangle’s short end for tree trunk.
  4. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  5. Spread 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cream cheese spread on top of each baked crescent tree. Using photo as a guide, arrange herbs and vegetable pieces on each crescent tree.
  6. Serve immediately, or loosely cover and refrigerate up to 1 hour before serving.
