Last year the Cedars Boys Basketball team had an incredible season, winning the LL championship and section 2 championship.

This year’s squad is looking to pick up right where they left off.

Coach Tim Speraw explains, “Our goals are always the same; Our goals are alway to win the section, try to win the league, and make district and state playoffs.

Despite the loss of some key players from last season, including Luke Collins, the Cedars still have many capable weapons on the court.

Senior Marquis Ferreira explains what he hopes to improve on, “Probably my dribbling skills, trying to like read the defense a little better and just my leadership”

Senior Kameron Uffner added, “This season I plan on improving my confidence on the court, rebounding”

The Cedars may still have room to improve, but they started this year with a bang, defeating Spring Grove and ELCO this past weekend. Be sure to come out and support our boys in their next home game on Thursday, December 17, 2021.
