In Honor of Betty White’s 100th Birthday

Many of you may or may not have known who Betty White was; she was an actress, radio host, singer, and a comedian. Her career began in the 1940s, and she started off her career doing radio work and television productions. She was actually one of the first women to produce a national TV show and to star in a sitcom.
Upbringing
Betty was born on Tuesday January 17th 1922, in Oak Park, Illinois, United States. White was an only child and when she was two years old she moved to Los Angeles, California with her family.
Most Successful Accomplishments
Many of you may have seen Betty white’s appaerances from comedic movies to TV shows. Betty was fluent in every genre either if it was romance, comedy, and even drama. A few of her most famous sitcoms were The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls.
Awards-
She received many nominations and awards for her accomplishments throughout the years of her life. As for her sitcom “Golden Girls”, she won a Primetime Emmy award for “Outstanding lead actress in a comedy series”. As for her other hit sitcom “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, she won another Primetime Emmy award for “Outstanding supporting Actress in a comedy series”. These are not the only few wins Betty has achieved, and there are plenty more!
Recently we lost Betty White on the night of December 31st, 2021. Before she had passed away, she was 99 years old. On this day, January 17, she would have reached being 100 years old. So let’s pay our respects to Betty White and her loved ones.
