Larissa Rivera’s “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” FanArt
With this piece, I wanted to repaint my favorite scene of Guido Mista, one of my favorite “JoBros” characters from JoJo Bizarre Adventure. I’ll be honest, like most of my paintings, the sketches were much better. Still, without mistakes there is no room for improvement! As I painted Mista, I wanted to capture his “meh” expression in this shot. I want to continue painting characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, as some characters are pretty bizarre. Plus, I want to learn more from Hirohiko Araki, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga artist, and his ever changing art style.
From the series, I also painted another character that I was fascinated with —Doppio Vinegar. Vinegar’s character had two personalities, hence he was formerly known as Diavolo-Doppio. Until, the personalities split to become two different people. Interesting, right? This particular art-style inspired me and I want to continue practicing this art-style. Also, I hope to revisit these pictures when I learn more techniques and repaint them — maybe even do a before and after comparison!
