Attention All Writers!

Have you ever heard of a writers roundtable? No, well a Writer’s Roundtable is open to those who love to write for fun or profit. Whether it’s poetry or short stories or creative nonfiction, we explore writing it, talking about it, and seeking to learn about publishing it. There are no experience requirements.

The LHS Poetry/Writers Club is hosting our first ever Writers Roundtable on Wednesday, May 25, during periods 3AB (10:09–11:13 a.m.) in Room N232!

Bring a piece of writing (short story or poetry, completed or unfinished) for which you would like feedback from other writers and readers. Students who will miss lunch will eat C lunch that day.

You do not have to be a member of the LHS Poetry/Writers Club to participate. However, you must register by the end of day on Monday, May 23. Use the QR Code below to access the registration form.

Questions?

See any member of the LHS Poetry/Writers Club or send a Schoology message to Mrs. Faiola.

We are an open and safe environment where it’s about the need to tell stories. We are supportive and we offer advice for moving your work forward or helping with the dreaded “writer’s block.” We are cheerleaders for the artist and the work. Hope to see you there!
