People around Fintech — Anubhav Sharma

In this instalment we spoke with Anubhav Sharma, recent HEC,Paris — Strategy MBA graduate and Citibank, JP Morgan ex- manager.
Since Anubhav has a background as a software engineer and has an affinity for tech, he wished to convice his knowledge on applying new technologies in financial services. He decided to enroll for the “Fintech around 8 hours” course as it offers the fundamental understanding of the subjects that he wished to learn. We had a quick chat with him to find out how this course influenced his life.

Yes most definitely. I will recommend this course to anyone even remotely related to financial services to understand how the industry is being transformed and stay ahead of the curve.
What you expected from the course, and what you got out of it?
I was expecting knowledge of the latest fintech trends in various areas such as payments, lending etc. and to better understand the technologies and business models in fintech. The course exceeded my expectations in terms of not only providing this knowledge but also a very active community to connect & share views with.
What are you going to do now — with your new fintech foundation certificate?
I wish to further develop my skills in this sector, hence, I will connect with innovation minded finance practitioners and lookout for exciting opportunities where I can utilize my business acumen, financial services background and fintech knowledge gained through this course. In the long term, I wish to launch my own fintech venture.
