Children of God?
A humorous look at children
Kids are home from school a lot over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I spoke with my children this past week and could tell they were dealing with siblings fighting and could only laugh to myself as I remembered how they fought with each other when they were little.
It was more than 25 years ago when I was a young parent dealing with children who fought with their siblings every minute of the day.
We heard the constant “stop touching me,” and “you started it — did not,” conversations repeatedly. Seems I was always telling them to separate or sending someone to their room.
I don’t know if I am the one who wrote the following story or if I saw it somewhere, but if it isn’t originally mine, I’m sure by now it is free domain so I would like to share it with those of you who are currently dealing with children’s attitudes. I found a piece of paper in my old, falling apart Bible, it was dated 12/08/99, and on it I had handwritten the following…

“Don’t!”
