December is dark, but full of light. The darkest nights of the year are brightly illuminated with festive colorful lights and decorations. The air may feel crisp where you are and there may be the promise of snow creating a white Christmas. Or maybe you are experiencing a tropical month. Either way, it’s a time of reflection and celebration, and of endings and beginnings. As this year ends, we look forward to the promise of a new beginning.

Here at the Challenged we give you daily writing ideas to help inspire your writing each month. December is almost here and we need some creative writing suggestions that capture the spirit of the holiday season such as winter scenes, holiday traditions, family gatherings, or reflective themes for the year’s end.

We are looking for some fun, festive, unique, wintry ideas. Let us know what you’d like to write about by leaving a comment or a private note to keep your idea a secret.
