In the year 2142, Earth has been ravaged by climate change and pollution and is now nothing more than a desolate wasteland. Except for the Myrtle Spurge, a plant that has survived and thrived by adapting its ability to absorb energy and life from anything that comes near it. Paralyzation is instant, while death is agonizing.

Humans have been forced to take refuge inside metal cities where dirt is outlawed. The Myrtle Spurge plant can extend its roots into the tiniest crack and reach the surface seeking life of any kind to eat. Dirt is not just outlawed but is a forbidden word, and getting caught with any is grounds for imprisonment.

The vibrant greens that once sparked a glimmer of hope in the remaining humans are now a constant reminder of how they must cling to survival within the sterile confines of their metal tomb.
