Being on the younger side, whenever I’m sharing some of the stupid things I do or my excesses, older people’s responses usually involve an “been there, done that” amused vibe.

Apparently, once some decades pile up on you, it’s not that easy to do all the moronic things you did, even if you want to. It sounds credible and even logic, I know, but I hope it will take at least a few more years before I truly experience how that is.

As a modern young person, I don’t sleep that much. There are so many temptations around since electricity has been involved that night or day don’t really matter. More so, the world is interconnected, and there are so many different time zones.

Even if you’re a “no-lifer” and you don’t go out much, as long as you’re present on the internet (which everyone is these days), you will end up staying late to catch up with online friends from various countries.

I know that lack of sleep is regarded as a serious thing nowadays, but it’s so hard to fix that when you’re young. Eight hours of sleep every night seems like a real challenge, even when you don’t suffer from any sleep-related conditions or trauma.
