I haven’t had any luck choosing historical people to come live with me because they are all possibly fictional or legendary. No wonder they did great deeds. Robin Hood…nope, not real, Uhtred of Bebbanburg, not real either, how about William Wallace, not him either! Vlad Dracul, yes he’s real, but do I want to be sharing my home with him? I don’t think so. Seems like Ragnar Lothbrok, a 9th Century Viking chieftain was real, so I might take him.
After just having watched a program on Dr Ken Elliott, who was held captive in the Sahara Desert for 7 years and 4 months, I’d want him along, not only for his doctoring skills, but for his bravery and surviving against the odds.
