Nature Hits the Refresh Button and Calls It Spring
It’s chaos in full bloom
Spring walks in
like she owns the place
kicks winter out
no thank-you needed
Suddenly, flowers explode everywhere —
no warning
no permission slips.
Trees put on fresh green clothes
as if they’ve been waiting all year
for this particular moment.
Bees buzz around
like tiny, confused delivery drones,
not sure if they’re working
or just vibing.
Birds? Loud.
They chirp
like they have opinions
on everything
from worm shortages to cloud shapes.
One even looked at me
like it knew my secrets.
The sun stops being shy —
not too hot,
just the right kind of nosy
even the wind has calmed down,
maybe it has decided
to pack a book and basket
and go on a picnic.
