One Hundred Random Thoughts on a Rainy Saturday Morning

Here we go:

1- It's raining and gray.

I read the Monarch butterfly count was up this winter

I hope to see more monarchs this summer

But in general, the count is still down

I’m still tired from being away from home for so long

It’s been almost three weeks since Dad died.

I hope he’s at peace.

I hope he’s with mom.

I did all I could do.

Watercolor painting is hard.

I did my first painting yesterday.

It’s okay — I need to work on blending more.

Our entire family is creative.

I love coffee.

I just made a pot.

There are a lot of odd jobs to do around the house.

17- We’ll get to them this spring.

My mother-in-law died 8 years ago today

Our oldest son was starting grad school at the same time
