THE CHALLENGED

Scrambled Eggs! Strangers! Astrology!

Roz responds to a writing prompt instead of writing an actual story because Medium is so overrun with spam, bots and AI-Generated Piffle these days that a real story would probably get lost in the shuffle

It’s December but I’m just getting around to responding to this September writing prompt. Oops.

What is your favorite way to eat eggs?

Scrambled eggs the way my cousin Ruthie makes them with onions and a very small amount of spinach. Either that or an omelet the way American Airlines serves them when you’re flying first class.

Fun fact: The classic Beatles song “Yesterday” was originally titled “Scrambled Eggs.”

Paul McCartney came up with the tune and chords before he came up with the lyrics, so he used the words “Scrambled eggs, oh my baby, how I love your legs” as a placeholder until he came up with something better.
