She Wants To Know, But Does She Get What She Wants?

She’s not asking for much so I’ll let her have it: Something to do with writing being easy — is it?

False Indigo and Mock Orange by Katie Michaelson.

Who wants to know all about my writing secrets and desires? Adrienne Beaumont does.

And that lady gets what she wants!

She asks these worn-out questions. I’m all tuckered out from digging lamb’s ears and fingering around in the dirt. I’ll tell you about that after I respond to these pressing questions.

1. If you have a chance to write a musical play or a blockbuster film and decide to give it a go. Which would you choose? I’d write a movie with blockbusters. Hot sexy old geezers all sweaty busting those blocks for my garden retaining wall. And I’d show the film at outdoor theaters serving spiked lemonade and buttered popcorn.

2. If a movie were to be written about your life, would you have a famous actor play you or a talented up-and-coming star? Who is it? My life is too busy for movies these days. Can I select dead people? No, that would be creepy. I don’t know any female stars. How about…

Betty Boop?

Yes. Betty would do me proud.
