We will no longer publish stories unrelated to prompts or challenges. An exception is made for our veteran writers who understand the interests of the community. (When you’ve established yourself in the community through interaction and engagement, yours will also be considered.)

Guidelines are simple:

1. Follow our publication and its editors.
2. You must allow private messaging and understand how it works.
3. Stories should be 1000 words or less. (It’s not like we’ll toss you out for submitting longer ones, but they often get less reads. People are busy.)
4. Be a decent human being.
5. Get Grammarly free, or run your copy through Hemingway.
6. I want to see everyone grow as a writer, but we simply don’t have time to guide you to correct poor sentence structure when every other sentence has issues. An oversight here and there isn’t a big deal, but some pieces have needed near complete rewrites.
7. Read Medium’s Image Guidelines and credit each image accordingly.
