Have you ever complained about a day? Like, “It’s bad day” or “Nothing goes well with me on ____ (any day of the week)!” Well if you are the one, you shouldn’t miss it!

Let’s take an example of a girl, Isha.

Isha is a kind, sophisticated and beautiful girl, who is good in studies as well as in extra curriculums! She is a learner, she loves to explore things and… Life! Curiosity resides in her mind — she is not a kid, but not an elder either. What is it? What’s the issue? How to deal with it? These are Isha’s most favourite and frequent questions she raises when she gets stuck!

Now there comes a day. Isha participates in an exhibition which was going to take place on state level. She is well prepared with all things, including model, and has taken the note of all the necessary points mentioned in it. But unfortunately, while boarding the bus, Isha loses her balance and falls. With it, the model in her hands falls too, and the top part gets broken on one of its corner. At time of exhibition, she represents it, but due to that broken part, her model and project gets rejected.

Isha is crestfallen. There were some other participants in her group, who begin to criticize her. Isha has no idea how to explain them that this isn’t her fault. She comes home, cries and blames herself and complains about the day. Her mother asks her about the exhibition, but she hugs her tightly, and cries. Isha’s mother wonders about her condition. Isha explains her everything. Isha’s mother is a patient, and tranquil woman who listens to the whole situation and says, “You are not guilty. Nor do you have to clarify it. No day is bad. It’s we who make good or bad.” Isha’s mother doesn’t explain the meaning; she wants Isha to get it herself. Isha doesn’t understand and goes away.

Like her mother, Isha is blessed with that patience to analyze too. She spends some time alone, recalls everything and finally gets what her mom meant. She gets reality check. Mum’s right, there’s no bad day. We make it bad or good. I don’t have to clarify and I won’t ever, she thought!

Yes dear readers, there’s never a bad day. It’s we who make our day bad or good. No emotion, no person, no condition can dominate you — unless you allow them to! We are the creators of our day, so why handing the pen to someone(or something) else?

Now it’s your time. To be honest and kind. To whom? YOU! And this is the first random act of kindness, which you do to yourself.

One can be kind to others, only if he’s kind to himself!

Stay optimistic!!! :D

P.S. — I have started writing stories, and this is my very first one! I have no idea about how it’s been written. But one thing I know is I love learning, and I will improve. Hope you enjoyed this blog.
