What robe you behold?
Life, a beautiful yet unrelenting saga retold in pieces of clothes that are sewn together — each distinct in their identity, in their relevance and memory. Savor each of those pieces if you want to wear that distinct cloth, woven from tales of your tears, sweats, smiles, and fortune.
Different characters embellish your robe, the vibe of it manifested in the fragrance of your mental faculty and colossal empathy. Always remember, old Sam, that you receive what you mostly give back to the world. If your life is sewn with empathy, generosity, universal love, and profound humility, you will adorn a garment that you would love to cherish: one that reflects those very character traits, those very desirable attributes that make your own life more self-fulfilling. You give otherwise, you receive otherwise.
If you look for the scissor to cut away all the undesirable pieces of time and sew only the memorable times together, then you can never have your robe: it will elude you. If you don’t face the worst of times, you wouldn’t know the best. Most often what you think to be the worst of time is only relatively an ephemeral upset in the future course of progression — one that teaches you perseverance and endows motivation. Old Sam, you have not seen the real sufferings of life. The real hardships that most have to cope up with. So don’t let those temporary upsets get on you.
Always remember, when time favors you, the world would see your true nature. And, when time favors otherwise, you see the world’s true nature. Therefore, be true to your time: once it flows, you cannot row yourself back.
