Why not answer Izzy’s ten questions?
Who doesn’t love a good question-and-answer period when the subject is me? 🤣 Alright, I know you’re busy, but if you could spare the time, you might learn something new about this writer, perhaps even yourself.
Izzibella Beau did a wonderful job presenting this questionnaire. These questions make you think, and what do you know? Unlike my ToTs, you don’t have to pick a “this or that.”
It’s that easy.
Izzy, here are my responses. Yes, I’m talking to you. 🌞💕
- What movie never fails to make you cry?
As an empath and overly sensitive soul, I cry during every movie. So much so, if I don’t, I’ll consider it a lousy film because it didn’t move me. However, the one movie that tugs at my heartstrings every time is The Notebook. How can you not cry over the sensitive subject, the love gained and lost, and ultimately, the most heart-wrenching ending the story could ever tell? I’m being intentionally vague about the movie’s premise, highlights, and secrets because if you haven’t watched it, you should. It’s a definite must-see, but keep a box of tissues nearby.
2. Who would you trust to help you bury a body?
Izzy, it wouldn’t be hard to dig into one of my suspenseful thrillers to yank out a character to assist me, but I’m guessing you’re speaking about someone alive and breathing. I’d have to say it would be my husband, Ed, who always has my back and who has faith in me that if the person needed to die, I must have a good excuse—no questions asked.
3. What moment in your past do you wish you could experience again for the first time?
When you’re in your sixties, many grandiose moments stand out, and I’m sure many more have fallen into the memory bank that’s temporarily forgotten, so when I think back to my past, much is a blur. But I’ve never forgotten that time I took my two-year-old daughter to see a singing trio. Her excitement and delight warmed my heart, and I cried tears of joy throughout the performance. I’d love to relive this experience again, perhaps without the embarrassing display of emotion.
