DNC Uses Confiscated Sanders Signs for Big Bonfire

PHILADELPHIA — Following the DNC’s confiscation of Bernie Sanders signs, the DNC had an abundance of signage they were unsure what to do with. To solve this issue the DNC hastily built a group of think tanks and pollsters to figure out the best solution to the problem the Sanders delegates caused.

The solution that the DNC came up with was to openly burn the signs they confiscated. The move is being called by the party as a symbol of party unity. We spoke with Debbie Wasserman Schultz about the move:

“The bonfire we created from these confiscated signs really signals the beginning of a new era. Bernie Sanders is not the face of forward thinking at the Democratic party, Hillary is. Sanders is an old socialist progressive, Clinton represents the true values of our party. I’m excited to be working for Secretary Clinton.”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be stepping down from her position as the head of the DNC at the end of the convention. It is unsure if Sanders delegates will feel positively or negatively about the event.
