Frank Ocean Ponders the Meaning of a Release Date

LOS ANGELES, CA — Following a cryptic punch-card announcing a general release date of his latest album as well as a New York Times article citing the album would be released yesterday, it is being reported that Frank Ocean has been at his home thinking about his life and his career. A source close to Ocean also stated that he has spent “the last several hours pondering the meaning of a release date.”

“You know, where we at a ‘release date’ ain’t set in stone; it’s tentative. Ya’ll just got accept that and stop being superficial.”

The source would not further comment on Ocean. Ocean has been mostly reclusive in the four years since his release of Channel Orange. It is unclear when Ocean’s new album Boys Don’t Cry will be released.
