Is X and Y zero or one? What would be your gut answer?
It doesn’t matter. Yes is balanced, 50–50, by no. Zero is balanced 50–50 by one. And is balanced by or. Meaning, any answer will do. (It’s not about the answer).
This answers all questions about algorithms vs humans. They both get it right half-the-time. That’s all. (Be careful, with your definition, half-the-time.)
