Come Up With A Framework

Let’s say, for the purpose of discussion, we can look at a person, meaning, we can look at ourselves, from six points of view: intuition, intellect, emotion, talent, skill, and interest. This is too many. But, it is, also, not enough. However, it’s a start.

A typical framework for evaluation, would place these into boxes, for a clearer analysis of the boxes. This would give us nine integrating criteria, from which to make a decision, on what to do with a life, how to spend time, where to start, etc.

So, this results in a further analysis, and a different data breakdown, an additional framework, for evaluation. Giving us, the intuitive intellect, the intellectual emotive, the emotional intuitive, and so on. We also have, talent, skill, and interest, in any combination. You can pick any two of the words that have meaning to you. And, for you. Pay attention to the words you picked. And, why you picked them. This will tell you what you need to know.

Use the Framework to Analyze Data

Pick one word from the first three, and one word from the last three, and that will tell you half of what you need to know, to choose a time frame, and, also, a skill set, that you would like to manage, into a lifetime calling, or, a job.

The other half is opposite what you chose (so you have to consider this, also). You can decide to analyze these words (or others) any way you want. Whatever feels right to you, emotionally, makes sense to you, intellectually. Etc.

So, for example, intuitive talent, intellectual skill, emotional interest, seem to go together, easily. And, again, you could mix, and match these. In all ways. Intuitive emotion. Intellectual intuition. Emotional intellect. For, example. Keep going. Figure out what makes sense to you. And, then, ask yourself, why. Why it makes sense. Why you chose whatever you chose.

Analyze the Analysis

In reality, you cannot separate these traits, because, as a human, you are in possession of all of them. As a framework. As a set of traits. As a group of perspectives. Again, any of these, and-or, all of these.

If you try to separate them, you will have some trouble, if you are honest with yourself. Also, if you have taken this exercise before, you already know, you may prefer something at one point, and, over time, whatever you choose, or chose, will not do the trick, will get boring, etc.

So, in a way, the set-up of the analysis is instructive. And, also, misleading (it’s a set-up). It is based on several assumptions. All come from a basic point of view. Which has to do with learning, differentiating, understanding, talent, skills, interests from an intellectual, and, and emotional point of view. In short. You will fall back on your intuition to guide you.

Incorporate An Additional Framework (Age)

You may never know what is appropriate, and best, for you, as far as a career. If you are in the first quarter of your life, it doesn’t matter. You can try out lots of things. You have time. You can change. Learn what you like. As you go along.

If you are in the second quarter of your life, you still have time to change, but you will have to get more creative, and more honest with yourself, about what went right, and what went wrong, and what your intellect and emotion, talents, and skills, delivered. And, discovered.

Notice, I left out intuition and interest. Because, these may have a rapid rate of change, that is, not equal, to the other data in the frame work. Only you can say, because only you would know. The truth about your self. (Assuming there is truth about self.)

Get More Serious About the Analysis

If you are in the third quarter of your life, things are much more serious. You know much more about yourself. The truth about self. And how the self interacts with other selves. How, really, you have a virtual ‘self.’ Both internal and external. You will come to different conclusions. Guaranteed. With more data. About self. The universe of self. And, everything that impacted, and made your self, ‘self.’

If you are in the fourth quarter of your life, same thing. Different focus, perhaps. More about the preparation for, and the acceptance of, death. Much more deep introspection. About the universe. And, self. The universe of self.

If you are smart, you realize, you are in all four stages of life, no matter what stage of life. And, eventually, you, also, realize, you are stuck with 50–50 everything, no matter what you choose. Whatever framework. Whatever you.

Incorporate 50–50

Not, so, much, stuck with 50–50, as blessed with 50–50. Meaning, 50–50 has a good side. It, also, has a bad side. Because at the end of 50–50, everything breaks into 50–50. Complementarity is the basis for identity because duplicity is the basis for a unit. No getting around this. Once you discover.

This means, you already know, pretty much, everything, you are ever going to know. The passing years validate, and shape, what you know, into something, you need, and want, to know. This is pretty simple. No matter what your age, you have validated, and shaped, your self, all the way along.

This takes us back to the beginning. How to figure out what to do with your life? Don’t worry about it. You already know the answer to this question.

Observe Your Observation

Observe. Participate. Observe more. Participate more. And, rest. When it’s appropriate.

The rest takes care of itself. Zero and one are circumference and diameter. One in a circle with two (not-one).

Conservation of the circle is the core dynamic in nature.
