There is a circular relationship between an individual and a group. A unit in any discipline is joined to, and separated from, all of the other units in a group by an uber-simple, always conserved, circle. Making the composition, performance, and enjoyment, of music possible.

It is no accident that the notation for a single note is comprised of a line and a circle. And, the notation for a single composition, no matter how many instruments, themes, movements, is comprised of a set of lines and circles (staff and notes). All reducing (and expanding) to one line (diameter) and one circle (circumference), where sound is an infinite circle (and light is an infinite line).

Individual and Group (Unit and Units) (Single and Plural) (Piano Concerto)

Conservation of the Circle is the core, and, therefore the only, dynamic in Nature, making music (movement in general) possible.
