Psychological profiles in general.

Carl Jung laid the foundation for the Myers Briggs psychological profile (MBTI). And, psychological profiles in general. Because Jung, like all of his contemporaries, was familiar with astrology, since astrology was handed down from ancient philosophers (mathematicians, actually) as an ancient system for classifying human behavior .

Jung changed the astrological names to more ‘academically’ accessible names. Starting with the whole idea of ‘archetypes.’ Which, was, actually not a new idea at all.

Archetypes, like all of the ideas in astrology, were, also handed down from ancient philosophers, and mathematicians, as a way to psychologically profile mankind using metaphors (allegories). Where an allotropical aphorism was used (and still is used) as a teaching mechanism to help man understand, and, thus, control (somewhat) his behavior (and, perhaps, the behavior of others).

Yin and Yang (Circumference and Diameter)

This all started with cave dwelling paintings, and camp-fire stories, which were based on ancient understandings about (the rise and fall of) the sun (and moon).

To simplify, in order to make this more ‘real,’ yin and yang (ancient) is zero and one (modern). Because zero and one is circumference and diameter of an uber-simple (and, thus, always-conserved) circle.

Yin and Yang (Circumference and Diameter)

Thus, the circle in astrology transformed itself, via Jung (and many others) (e.g. Noether), into a way to psychologically (and physically) (mathematically) understand ‘reality.’

MBTI

This brings us to the Myers Briggs system for profiling behavior.

That is, an easy-to-understand (well, not-that-easy, actually) system using the words introverted-extroverted, intuiting-sensing, thinking-feeling, perceiving-sensing, along with a stylized set of definitions, is, actually, traceable, mathematically, to an uber-simple matrix.

That is, in the MBTI system (in all systems, actually), behavior can be transcribed to a four-by-four matrix, which is, more correctly, a two-by two matrix, where any ‘individual’ can ‘analyze’ his or her behavior, against the matriarchical behavior of a group.

That is, it all begins (and ends) with M and F (male and female) which is, again, an uber basic circle (one and zero) (diameter and circumference). Where M and F stand in for 0 and 1 (1 and 2).

Complementary Identity

Thus, there is a confirmed mathematical basis for astrology, and MBTI, in general. Where complementarity (M and F) is essential for identity (M or F).

This holds true for all of the dichotomies in language (Nature in general). You need introverted for extroverted, sensing for intuiting, thinking for feeling, perceiving for judging, because, underneath it all, you need circumference for diameter (female for male).

Thus, the conventional view in MBTI is not exactly correct. That is, everyone has to be half of everything. At all times. And this simplifies psychological profiling, exposing why everyone, at one time or another, is angered by the psychological profile.

X and Y (Complementary Identity)

Half and Half is Half and Whole

That is you cannot have anger without a joyful state (you need one for the other) (which will cause an argument) (anger, for sure) (to prove the point). And, always, vice versa.

Meaning, you can self-profile, and understand everyone around you, more easily, by seeing everyone (and everything) as half-male, half-female (half circumference-half diameter).

Half and Half (Half and Whole)

And, you can carry this down the line: half extroverted, half-introverted, half intuitive-half sensing, half feeling-half thinking, half perceiving-half judging.

Half-angry. Half-joyful. At all times.

Half-X. Half-Y. Any description you are able to put into ‘words.’

The Psychological Profile

Exposing the true ‘utility’ of MBTI, astrology, mathematics, psychology, and, believe it or not, physics and mathematics.

Yin and yang (ancient) is zero and one (modern).

This explains everything about everything.

However, you will have to take a walk. By yourself. Or, maybe a vacation. To think about this. Deeply.

Why do we experience our ‘selves’ and ‘others’ as something other than 50–50 (half and half)? Because, obviously, in human experience, everything is tied to the sun (light and heat). If you are born in the winter your experience is directly opposite those born in the summer. Because an uber-simple circle has control.

Conservation of the Circle, is, thus, the only (and, obviously, the most important) dynamic in Nature. Helping you to understand your own (and others’) constantly changing ‘behavior.’ MBTI, notwithstanding.
