Phew! December was a lot of work for the Cirus Team. We spent a ton of time with our heads down coordinating, building, testing, breaking and rebuilding things. It took a ton of effort, but we eventually got there, on time too! Here’s a look back at December.

📍December 7th — The Evolution of Cirus Announcement and Live AMA

With the team all together at our Toronto office, we held a live AMA announcing the upcoming release of the Cirus Browser Extension, the events leading up to it, as well as the updated roadmap for the Cirus Ecosystem. Check out the details HERE and the AMA HERE.

…..and if that wasn’t enough, Kucoin kicked off a trading competition on the same day, running until December 14th!

📍December 13th — 12 Days of Cirus!

The countdown to launch started, with community events every day through extension launch. We had over 5,000 submissions over the course of the event, with a wide range of creative entries from the excellent to the….interesting. Check out a few below!

📍December 23rd — Cirus Crosses the Bridge into the BSC Ecosystem

Surprise! Cirus becomes available in the BSC Ecosystem through Multichain (formerly Anyswap), exposing the $CIRUS token and Ecosystem to the rapidly expanding user base on BSC, and opening the door to further partnerships and integrations in the future. Details HERE!

Aaaaaaand… our Co-Founders Michael and Daniel sat down with Crypto Influencer WendyO to discuss Cirus’ role in the evolution of Web 3 and the incoming Defi Metaverse. Check it out here:

📍December 24th — The Cirus Browser Extension Launches on Chrome!

Right on time, the Cirus Browser Extension launches for Chrome users — the first step of many, enabling users to start monetizing their data. It was a smooth rollout after months in the works and thousands of users have already jumped in. Get it HERE for Chrome!

📍December 29th — Cirus Browser Extension Updated to V1.0.5

After taking feedback and reports from our first few thousand installs, our tech team rolled out V1.0.5, fixing a few minor issues. Click HERE for the Medium post with details of the fixes and what’s coming next!

2021 was an AMAZING year for Cirus. We’ve come so far in just a few months, thanks in no small part to you, our amazing community members. We hope that you enjoy using our first live product, but know that this is just step one of many. There is SO much more to come in 2022 from partnerships and integrations, to product updates and new product developments, to whole new concepts…..all in the name of empowering you to use your data as the key to enter Web 3.0 and the ever-expanding Ownership Economy.
