The Calgary Tower, as seen at night. One of the city’s architectural landmarks for the past 50 years, it continues to stand out amid rapid change in the city. The lighting of notable buildings and structures in cities has become common place. What stands out to me here is the subtlety. It’s enhancing the cityscape, while not trying to draw attention away from it.
