As previously discussed there are 25 Wards in the City of London dating back hundreds of years.
Many of these have a Ward Club. Unlike the Livery Companies which were (and in the case of Modern Liveries still are) linked to trades and professions, the Ward Clubs link to the physical Ward they were in.
