If you are looking to up your Instagram game, studying in one of the most photogenic cities in the world is all you need. Steering a bit away from the standard tourist places and getting to know the “real” London is beyond magical. So prepare yourself to have the most Insta-worthy shots in the city that never sleeps.
Sky Garden
Londons highest public garden offers a 360° breathtaking view of the whole city. What could be more perfect for your Insta?
The stunning architecture and the exquisite landscaped gardens is a must! The sky garden also has an open-air terrace, 2 bars, a restaurant and a brasserie (plenty of space to get the perfect picture). The best time to go is one hour before the sun sets, this way you get to see the views with sunlight, the sunset and the city full of lights.
Located only 3 tube stops away from uni on 20 Fenchurch St. Ps. Entrance is free!

Street Art on Brick Lane
There is street art all over London, but Brick Lane specifically will make you travel into London's vintage culture. This lane is filled with colourful spray paintings that will give life to your Instagram feed. Added bonus? you will get to see a lot of cool vintage shops and perhaps buy a pair of vintage sunglasses.
Chelsea + Saatchi Gallery
Chelsea is filled with Instagram spots to get the most casual, pretty, and local vibe. Taking a walk around Chelsea guarantees a worthy Instagram picture, having as a background stunning white and pastel-coloured houses. As an addition, if you’re in the area, you can go and visit the Saatchi Gallery to capture an ideal gallery shot.

Temakinho
Feeling tropical? Temakinho features an amazing tropical Brazilian vibe perfect for your Instagram. Filled with colourful murals and dominating flamingo pink, Temakinho has thought about every tiny detail to make your pictures amazing (even a bathroom selfie is awesome).
Additionally, the food is exquisite! Personally, it’s my favourite restaurant. So, what better plan than getting your A-level Instagram picture and enjoying sustainable Japanese-Brazilian food with friends from uni.
Temakinho has two venues (which both follow the same decoration), one is located in Soho and (my favourite, pictured above) on Tower Bridge.

Feeling quite fancy? Sketch located in Mayfair is the place to get the most unexpected and artsy Instagram pic. Every room features a different setting which constantly gets reinvented. This place is the speechless creation of restaurateur Mourad Mazouz, and every inch features an Instagrammable spot. Quite perfect for afternoon tea!
Neal’s Yard
Hidden in a corner of Covent Garden you can find Neal’s Yard, full of colourful houses, bars, and restaurants with vibes of a micro-village.
This spot is ideal for Instagram pictures starring a hidden gem in London. Imagine walking around, capturing the local culture and unique pictures!
