Document storage and fax usage details available in Blueprint OMS

File extension set correctly when downloading documents
When downloading a document from Blueprint OMS, the correct file extension (e.g. “.pdf”, “.doc”) will be added automatically.
This applies when downloading a generated form, as well as when using the Download copy option from the right-click menu on the patient Documents screen.
Recipient fax number can be edited when retrying fax transmission
When retrying a failed fax transmission, the recipient’s fax number can be edited.
Transmitted faxes can be accessed via Communications → Fax outbox.
Integrated payment processing for insurer payments
Note: This information is only applicable for clinics using the Integrated payment processing feature in Blueprint OMS.
Previously, entering a credit card payment from an insurer did not trigger integrated payment processing — the payment was simply saved. This has now been fixed, and the user will be prompted to swipe the card or enter the card details manually.
Status can be updated for multiple documents simultaneously
This function is available on the Search documents screen, accessed via Tools → Search documents.
Multiple documents can be selected by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on the desired documents, or by right-clicking and choosing Select all.
Transactions not linked to Quickbooks can be edited
Transactions imported from other software, or created in Blueprint OMS before integration with QuickBooks can now be edited using the Edit invoice(s) button on the patient Sales history screen.
Corrected alignment when printing HCFA 1500 without background
Alignment problems with boxes 24 A-J have now been fixed.
“My recalls” screen shows patient phone numbers for all recalls
Previously, when a recall was added from the Patient menu the patient phone number was not shown on the My recalls screen. This has been fixed.
Referral source retained when converting QuickAdd to full patient
Previously, when converting a QuickAdd into a full patient file the referral source was not saved. This has now been fixed.
Date transfers correctly into Blueprint for back-dated audiograms in Noah
Previously, the audiogram date transferred to Blueprint would be off by 1 day. This has now been corrected.
