As we jump back into good vibes and even better music, we wanted to kick things off with some quality talent: WILLOW.

Willow Smith — or Willow Camille Reign Smith, as the government calls her — was born on October 31st. She’s a famous singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer who also plays both the guitar and piano. Smith is most known for her alternative aesthetics throughout pop, rock, and R&B culture, which has recently led to her record deal with Roc Nation. In addition to her talents across the entertainment realm, she has also served the girls up as a runway model for The Society, a modeling agency that represented other stars such as Kendall Jenner.

In her personal life, Willow Smith is also known for the family that she’s a part of. She has two older siblings: her brother Jaden, who is also an actor and musician, and her other brother Willard Carroll “Trey” Smith III, who is an actor and DJ. Her parents, Will Smith and Jada-Pinkett Smith have definitely made a name for themselves across Hollywood, so it’s a natural birthright that their kids do the same.

As a public Queer icon, and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, it’s a given that we acknowledge Willow for her impact within our culture. Having an artist in this generation show up in their music authentically, telling stories about our people, and using their platform to spread love is important. We appreciate Willow for all that she has been able to create and share with our people.

If you want to actually hear the greatness, check out a sample of her music here for our #StarterPack playlist. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
