About THE CO-MISSION

What we believe

Writers for The Co-Mission believe

  1. God exists eternally as three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. The Bible is God’s perfect word.
  3. God created the earth and humanity. Humans were intended to be God’s perfect image bearers and partner with Him in paradise.
  4. Due to sin, the relationship between God and humanity has been broken.
  5. God, through the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of people, is bringing people back into relationship with him.
  6. God’s people is the global church. This transcends denominational backgrounds, ethnicity, race and nationality.
  7. Love and unity are crucial and integral characteristics of the global church.
  8. God invites us to participate in his mission of restoring people back into relationship with him.
  9. This restoration is transformative. It transforms the lives of individuals, societies, countries and the world.
  10. Sharing the gospel is integral to the church’s purpose and work on earth.

These are just the basics. There are other things that we believe too!
