Our Member Corinne Redfern bags Amnesty Media Award for Features Category

We are thrilled and congratulate our member and star mentor Corinne Redfern winning at the 2019 Amnesty Media Awards.

Corinne’s work was developed under a partnership between the Fuller Project and Elle UK. The piece in question explores the lives of women in Bangladesh’s brothels. You can check out this powerful work here: The Warriors: My Husband Sold Me To A Brothel.

The piece also features pictures taken by another one of our members, photojournalist Allison Joyce. The duo spend seven months documenting the experiences of the women living in Bangladesh’s brothel area.

The judges included Huffpost UK’s Lucy Pasha-Robinson, Grazia’s Anna Silverman, Observer’s Nosheen Iqbal, Metro’s Sharon Lougher, Amnesty’s Niall Couper and Telegraph’s Ema Gatten.
