United Nations CSW hosts discussion about obstacles in gender violence

Our Founding Director Kiran Nazish was recently part of a United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) session focusing on obstacles in gender violence.
The session focused on Genderforce and how it is initiating change. Nazish moderated the panel and added to the conversation on the economic empowerment of women that are struggling in violent or conflict-laden situations.
The session was co-hosted by Global Network of Women Peacebuilders.
The discussion included the perspective of Dr Carol Cohn from the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders and activist Muthaka Ilot.
