We love to read interesting tips, intriguing facts, and upbeat stories about coffee at The Coffee Mic.

Before you submit your draft to us, make sure The Coffee Mic is the right publication for your story. Please take a look at our guidelines below.

Submission rules for The Coffee Mic:

1. First, you need to be accepted as a writer for The Coffee Mic. Click here and follow the directions to become a writer.

2. We can’t accept work after it has been published on your page or another publication. Please save your piece as a draft and click “Add to publication.” Click on “The Coffee Mic” under your list of choices.

3. Make sure your piece doesn’t contain grammatical or spelling mistakes. You can download a free version of Grammarly to check your work.

4. Your piece must include a title and at least one photo. Follow the Medium curation guidelines to appropriately link sources, credit photos, and format titles and subtitles.

5. Please use “coffee” as one of your tags.

6. We publish works related to coffee. This includes coffee tips, facts, true stories, and fiction. The stories don’t have to explicitly be about coffee, however, the word “coffee”…
