What I love most of all is Hendrickson’s unswerving confidence that academic theology is absolutely relevant to the everyday stuff of life. The two cannot be separated.
It is not just the priesthood that need greater theological grounding. This argument also extends to everyday Christian believers, who similarly face big questions and challenges as they journey through life. This is part of what we as the CHCs stand for — the meaningful and helpful contribition of careful theological reflection for day-to-day Christian living.
