Creatively Eliminate Your Competition Like Uber

I set up back to back calls with people from across the world — and we came up with some magic insights.

I get asked an array of marketing questions daily.

A big reason for that is the post below. It went viral 4 months ago. And is still generating strong numbers (shows you the value of great content — I put some serious sweat into it).

However,

What I noticed is rarely do you see real-life marketing problems get solved for real people. People who have their own business, or ideas they want to pursue. Their problems aren’t addressed. Nor are their questions answered.

It is always some book about some high level ideas. Or some marketing genius who pushes theories that sound good on paper. Or some blanket answers to generic at-scale problems.

Yet all the questions I get are from people in the trenches.

Niggling questions that don’t have scale, but are the most important.

So, to put myself on the spot, to bring out some magical insights, and create immense value for everyone — I set up 15 minute calls with a select bunch of people around the world.

I wanted to be that person that asks the right questions.

Marketing, growth, and business strategy related ONLY. With the hope I’ll ask questions that will uncover breakthroughs.

This isn’t my attempt at positioning myself as a marketing guru, or to become one of those dudes that sells marketing ebooks and courses online. I just want to grow my brand and do it by bringing value.

Below I am going to share a key selection of those calls, tackling the same kind of problems that many of you are facing, including:

  1. I don’t have enough customers: Arkady, who has an existing business which is doing fairly well, but is having trouble getting more customers and getting seen,
  2. My customers aren’t coming back: Kanchan who has an established and growing business, but can’t seem to get customers coming back through the door,
  3. I feel like I’m doing the same thing as everyone else: Michelle is an incredibly passionate photographer, and a private person, but is having trouble standing out.
  4. How do I know my idea will work: Marina has an idea, and a personality, that can make the entire world more productive. She doesn’t know whether it is going to work…

I hope by the end of this you have strategies, ideas, and tips you can apply to your business, your job, your brand STRAIGHT AWAY.

Feel free to let me know your thoughts, or how I can improve.
