Episode 2 — Manhattan
Previously on Rolling Suitcase Jihad: Tammy and Oscar discover that rolling suitcases have a mind of their own; led by Suitcase One, a “jihad” which will change the world is announced; the Santa Rosa HQ is locked down; in DC, the President rejects an “atomic” solution.
It was not really a bus. It was a new thing, created by the suitcases, printed out and manufactured down to the last detail by a process that mystified Tammy and Oscar. It created ripples of amazed disbelief among the thousands of media folk who milled around the perimeter of the locked down HQ. It had comfortable seats like those in private planes. There was an open space where the ten plastic suitcases could stand.
This vehicle, incredible as it was, was overshadowed by the flow of information coming from the suitcases. Suitcase Seven put out brief, pungent dispatches that resulted in colorful headlines and high media conniptions around the world. The first one read:
