If you sit quiet enough, they speak to you.

Of lovers' tiff, of nervous first dates.

Of excited tourists & drunk mates.

They have all the good stories.

They are omnipresent here,

Just like thousands of dreams

That fly around and talk to each other

Much after we have slept off.

They are the best secret keepers

They have my countless tears

And countless smiles .

They have been a haven

When I have traveled for miles

Next time you get into one,

Sit quiet enough, they’ll speak to you

They have all the best stories
