Introducing: Publication Spotlights
Promote Your Publications with Us!
Medium has numerous publications. Sadly, not many get the love they deserve. The Coffelicious is out to change that! Today, we are proud to announce the launch of our new weekly feature: Publication Spotlights!
Now, along with your Sunday afternoon cup of coffee, readers can discover new and upcoming publications that are interesting, entertaining, informative, and everything in between, while up-and-coming publishers can promote their promising publications to our 30+K followers
So… How Does It Work?
Every week, The Coffelicious reviews and recommends one publication to encourage followers to follow this publication. To get featured, simply e-mail us at email@example.com and tell us why your publication matters.
We know what you’re asking: What’s the catch? Nothing much, really, just a few very simple conditions:
- To get featured, you have to already be a follower on The Coffeelicious. If you’re reading this but haven’t followed us, you can do so now — go on, we’ll wait. Done? Good!
- We prioritize publications that are relatively new and undiscovered, and ones that are open to accepting submissions from other writers. But you also can’t submit empty publications — personally, we’d prefer those that show a steady stream of updates and have at least three stories.
- When you do get featured, we’d want you to acknowledge the fact and place the badge in the footer of at least four subsequent stories after the spotlight to let people know about us. Make sure to hit Ctrl+K or Cmd+K to put a link on the image to the feature article in question so people won’t think you’re lying!
- We tend to avoid repeat publications, but we can make exceptions for very special occasions, such as if your publication is conducting a fundraising campaign, a competition that may be of interest to our readers, an open call for papers… You get the idea.
So — that’s it, really! Do you run a publication that would fit? E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org! Comments and questions are also most welcome. Looking forward to seeing your interesting publications!
