Let Life Guide You Through “Soul Recognitions”

But first: what the heck are they and how do I spot them?

Have you ever met a complete stranger and felt right away that you knew this person?

Well, it’s because you did.

I call this phenomenon “soul recognitions”. And these encounters are occurring more and more each day. It’s part of the new energy that is descending upon our planet.

Soul recognitions are encounters with people we don’t think we know or have ever met, but who are nonetheless part of our “soul network”. They appear out of nowhere but leave a profound mark on our lives. And they have a purpose.

Soul recognitions occur to help you along your path.

In essence, we walk through life with a “network” of people. Usually, we think that the souls connected to us are family and friends but that’s not completely true.

There are more — many more — people in our network.

The stranger that smiles at you when you’re having a horrible day…part of your soul network. The stranger you have a pleasant conversation with on the bus…part of your soul network.

Some souls in your network may stay in your life forever (like friends and family), while others show up just to bring you something you may need at that particular moment.

And this is why soul recognitions are so important right now.

This is one way to do it. Spot soul recognitions and see what they have to bring you. You can be certain of one thing:

Soul recognitions help guide you (or redirect you) toward your life purpose.

This beautiful phenomenon happened to me recently as I was giving consults at a music festival. I met three “strangers” that I knew immediately weren’t strangers at all. And over the course of the weekend, all three presented me with information I absolutely needed to hear at that very moment.

These souls brought me information that was previously outside of my conscious awareness.

Essentially, in one weekend, three people helped me evolve!

So how do you spot a soul recognition and take advantage of what it brings?

1. Be constantly aware of your environment and interact with it. In other words, be present. Suppose you’re on a bus and are completely immersed in your mind. Maybe you’re staring at your cell phone. What if the person sitting right in front of you is part of your soul network? Can you see how you may miss a beautiful opportunity to evolve simply by being stuck in your mind and not paying attention to life around you? Put the phone down, even if just for a few minutes, and scan your environment. Come out of any mental dramas and see life unfolding around you.
2. Look people in the eyes! We’ve all gotten so used to looking down at the ground as we walk or looking away from people as our eyes meet. Why on earth do we do this? The eyes are most certainly the windows to the soul and if you don’t look at people, you may miss a soul recognition altogether! I make it a practice to walk down the street with my head held high, looking at my environment with openness. As I walk by people, I look at them, smile. Try it. You may be surprised by how many soul recognitions you encounter by just looking at strangers as you walk down the street.
3. When you spot a soul recognition, listen intently to what that “stranger” has to say. He/she will probably bring you information that was previously outside of your conscious awareness. So you need to be present and listening actively in order to capture that info.
4. Be thankful for the soul recognition. Actually verbally say “Thank You” to the soul that has just helped you evolve. They may not even be aware that they’ve brought important information to you but thank them nonetheless. I usually use the statement “It was so nice to meet you. Thank you for the wonderful conversation!” This state of gratitude attracts more soul recognitions to you.

Once you begin to pay attention to all the beautiful people that cross your path, you’ll begin to see just how miraculous it all is. It’s pure magic to me…just pure magic!
