People aren’t the only unhappy Amazon employees [CARTOON]
The retail giant’s cutthroat work environment is bringing both human and non-human workers to tears.
By now you have no doubt read, or at least heard about, the New York Times’ big exposé of what it’s like working for Amazon. If not, then the following quote in the Times piece from a former Amazon employee sums it up quite well: “Nearly every person I worked with, I saw cry at their desk.” Sadly, we can only assume that this high pressure cutthroat unhappy work culture is also taking a similar toll on Amazon’s non-human employees.
