Photo Story: Majestic Beauty of Taj Falaknuma Palace Hyderabad

Some explore the beauty of Hyderabad in the lanes and alleys of Old City where Charminar stands tall beyond urbanization. Some find it in the grandeur and opulence of the Nizams’ palaces with a glorious history of the royal era. Taj Falaknuma in Hyderabad is one of the few most magnificent heritage palace hotels in India. Falaknuma Palace, which was inaugurated in 1893, became Taj Falaknuma through extensive renovation and reopened in 2010 to offer the Nizami hospitality of Hyderabad. Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel is awaiting its 5th-year celebration this November 13, 2015.
Situated on a hilltop, Taj Falaknama Palace is the best vantage point to catch eyefuls of the sprawling cityscape. Like an eagle sitting at an unsurpassable height, it commands breathtaking panoramas of Hyderabad City. From afternoon till evening is the best time to enjoy High Tea in the uppermost balcony with a royal setting, to bask in the sublime views of the city skyline, and to admire the glittering beauty of the Palace. Taj Falaknuma Hyderabad has several wonders including the world’s longest dining table and the larger number of Venetian chandeliers.
Recently, I visited the palace on an invitation for High Tea and clicked beautiful pictures of the palace’s exterior as well as interior. I am glad to share with you some of the best photographs of Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad:
