“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” This popular maxim is true about my camera and my eyes behind it. Their collaboration has resulted in many creations and discoveries including this photo story of Charminar and the life around it in Old City Hyderabad. Charminar whose faded look may not appeal to you in other times of the year steals the show in the month of Ramadan. It pulls a cheering crowd of foodies and photographers to explore the bustling area around it during Ramadan.

The life around this centuries-old icon of Hyderabad beats with footfalls, buzzes with cacophony of hawkers, teems with makeshift shops, crawls with two wheelers and gasps for air during the holy month of the year. All these create a thing of beauty just as seven different colors are blended to create one color that is white. These photographs of Charminar and its lively surroundings in Old City Hyderabad are manifestations of beauty during Ramzan in my eyes behind the camera.
