Sister, Dear

Princess in a castle, you are

No tears you knew nor care

Dreaming of stars so rare

Spread your wings, you dare

Reigns of control disguised as love

Locking you up in a golden cage, dove

However you push, break or shove

Stuck you feel as a glove

Older you grow, yet bolder?

The world’s shoulder now colder

Dreams, long let to smolder

Goals and priorities just meander

Open your eyes wide and clear

This is ‘YOUR’ life, they can’t steer

Searching for strength in a peer

You will realize it was always near

Take my hands you should

No one to save us in this neighborhood

Be it hail, gale or a cloudy shroud

We’ll fare it all, in sisterhood

Come on, Break those ties

Your dreams are calling from the skies

Sister dear, You were born to Shine and Rise

Let’s take them all by sheer Surprise
