Some People

Have you seen them?

--

Some people are like streets. They are open to all. They don’t care about you. They don’t judge by merit. They equally care about everyone who makes use of their public services.

Some people are like valleys. They are stuck between mountains like in a cage. Wherever you look, however you try, you keep hitting the same barriers over and over again.

Some people are like enormous grass fields. You keep walking and exploring, trying not to give up, but it’s the same old flat and boring scenery all around.

Some people are like woods. There are no trails throughout their craze. You get lost in their allegories and mess. You keep suffering in hunger and thirst until you get out.

Some people are like mountains. They are self-contained and distant. You have a hard time reaching their peaks. Their arrogance makes you feel small and unimportant, but they also give you a certain drive to reach new summits of life.

Some people are like rivers. They flow in and flow out, never stay still, never give you peace of mind. But they give you the sense of freshness and fun, and you don’t care that much either.

Some people are like lakes. You can go back to them like on a vacation and stay there as long as you please. They won’t mind. They will be always there. Always welcome. Always ready.

Some people are like deserts. They aren’t fruitful in any way. If you appear close to them, you may die of loneliness. They give you disillusionments of mirages, but they make you starve to death. Get help.

Some people are like geysers. They occasionally erupt with unbelievable power, but the times in between are just solitary anticipations.

Some people are like volcanoes. They explode out of nowhere and destroy everything around them.

Some people are like cliffs. You fall hard and fast.

Some people are like rain. They are there to wash down your tears in silence. They make it easier for you to blame all your miseries on them. Though, you don’t remember the rain when it’s sunny outside.

Some people are like rainbows. They are beautiful, inspiring, breathtaking. But you can only see them from afar. The minute you get close, they evaporate in the air.

And then, there are some people, who are like people.

Click ❤ below if you’ve met some of these people… and tell me about the people who are like people… Because I want to recognize them too.

Talk to me on Twitter. I’m suffering from existential loneliness.
