Unleashing the Gypsy Within!
Have you ever lost yourself to something lately? What is it that best brings out your wild, gypsy side?That thing which adds the magical touch to the ordinary life. Which when unleashed can awaken your passions, new creations!
I have a gypsy within me, who is unleashed in the company of peppy music, romantic full moon nights on a beach, crackling bonfires with barbeques, a walk in the hills — of course, with the right company. It is then, that the blood surges through my veins in a musical symphony, and I sway to the song of my soul. There are times, when planning for some adventure travel, escaping in a large green plateau of grass or letting the rain drops fall on my eyes makes me go all crazy and animated and I can’t control the immense joy I experience out of these things. In lay man’s words, I become a complete wacko and I love itttttt!
Suddenly the power of the life force awakens within you; you feel one with Nature and her rhythms. Creative urges flow best, senses are heightened and all faculties sharpened. It is then that everything else is incidental and life becomes intoxicating, seducing one to walk a bit on the wild side! You may sing in abandon, dance with the wild… And, it is then we realize the futility of setting limitations when we harbor such power within. You may do things never done before, making people wonder if you have split personality or something! It’s a side of you, maybe you never expected or experienced earlier.
Each of us has a gypsy within us, the wild one who peeps out at times but is quickly shuttered, reined in by societal norms.But in that instant, you have been introduced to your raw, natural and powerful side, which is the wellspring of passion and creativity. Gypsies are the unfettered souls who internalize the freedom that we deny ourselves.
So, what brings out your wild, raw side? Is the gypsy within you cajoled out by music? By the heaving emotions aroused by the monsoon? The high induced by alcohol? The sensations aroused by romance? By the thrill of an admiring glance? Or, does just the presence of a special person? Whatever it is, cherish the source, because it allows you an opportunity to meet your own self, deep down as you are!!
