We Are Changing The Way Publication Spotlights Are Done

It’s Now a Self-Promotion Prompt. Yay!

Hello, readers of The Coffeelicious! If you’ve been following us for a while, you’re probably aware of our Publication Spotlights feature. You can find the initial post here. But:

As of 2016, we are changing the way Spotlight Submissions are done. We will no longer be accepting submissions via e-mail like we used to. Instead, if you want your publication under our Spotlight, all you have to do is post a response to this piece.

There are two main reasons we are making this change:

• Less e-mail clutter. With the number of submissions we’re getting, it’s really getting cluttered, believe me. Readability will be much easier this way.
• You will get to promote your publication not only to us but also to your followers. Your response should be a public post that people can recommend and comment on. It could start its own conversation. And we know how much you like talking about your work, anyway — we’re like that, too. So, there you go!
• You could browse around and see what others are submitting. This way you can discover new and interesting publications, even if they’re not under our official Spotlight. How cool is that?
