When Hearts & Minds Align.

Our mind sends signals and impulses to our body but what signals our mind ?
How is our train of thought decided?

Maybe our heart has a mind of its own…

Our brain signals us what to feel
While our heart tells us what to think

A constant cycle
A repetitive chain reaction
Signals bouncing back and fourth
Tug of war on our heart strings

I think that’s why we have such a hard time finding true love.

We don’t need a perfect matching pair, but a compliment.

Someone who bobs when you weave. Who cooks, when you clean.

Some people think with their hearts and some feel with them.
Some hearts and minds are perfectly in sync, and others just can’t decipher the signals.

Our wheels spin and our blood pumps, mechanically processing our emotions and cognition, but there’s so many more parts to a well oiled machine.

You need to find that someone who’s heart can sit and have a conversation with yours.
You need to find someone who’s mind can laugh and cry with yours.

Your groves will match their gears and everything will feel like it’s locked into place.
Your hearts will beat and wheels will spin fluidly with one another.
Your compliment.

And finding that person who’s heart and mind aligns with yours…

that’s a connection you can never break.
